HTML (HyperText Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are literally the building blocks of the entire system of websites and webpages. By learning the actual language in which most webpages are written, you will command even much greater power when it comes to making your sites look and function exactly as you want them to. Edit websites with various software and even with simple text editing software like Notepad.
HTML and CSS involve writing and knowing various codes, tags and syntax so you should be ready to invest your time to learn and understand them all. It will surely make you a better web designer and developer. (A more advanced understanding of websites is necessary for this course.)
